Tamara De Prest (b. 1981) is a contemporary visual artist and storyteller based in Zottegem, Belgium. She paints, draws, and works with both analogue and digital collage. Her practice also includes photography, as well as occasional spatial and video-based works. Versatile yet consistently layered, her work is marked by a sharp eye for detail and a deep emotional resonance.

Her artistic practice begins with the complexity of being human. Vulnerability, self-inquiry, and existential questions lie at the core, with trauma running beneath the surface. Through an open confrontation with herself, she creates images that reveal subtle cracks in the façade of the everyday.
