Smeulders & Smeulders is Ivan en Mike Smeulders, both playing the accordion. They studied classical music in the conservatory of Antwerp where they received a masterdegree. Between 1995 and 1998 they did a concerttour around the world with a danceproduction of Alain Platel. In these years the two brothers also learned other musicstyles, such as jazz, rock, folk and worldmusic. Now, Mike owns a musicshop, Ivan is a musicpublisher.
