Samuel Baidoo is a creator, performer, and mentor. Their individual journeys connect autobiographical experiences with diverse work formats. Samuel's work therefore invariably begins with the intuitive creation of a new archive filled with images, fragments of text, film stills, documentaries, musical pieces, or excerpts from series, films, games, or manga. Sharing this archive continually reveals new content that they explore further. This allows them to associate and connect with the world around them.

Samuel works from their own practice, but also creates commissioned performances and is one of the artistic directors of the artist collective Hanafubuki. In recent years, Samuel has collaborated with artists including Agostina D’Alessandro, Tuur Marinus, Kopergietery/Lola Bogaert, tout petit, and Michiel Vandevelde. They also mentor dance students at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp annually.
