Jeugd en Muziek Brussel develops and implements educational projects for and by young people in Brussels, with music as a central theme. JM Brussels stands for high-quality and sustainable music education, both during and outside school hours, designed to meet the needs of the super-diverse Brussels. Its main goal is to stimulate and develop the artistic educational offer in Brussels Dutch-speaking schools for all pupils, regardless of their age, gender or background. JM Brussels starts from what is happening in the (broad) schools and community centres and offers educational solutions tailored to every question, problem or need. The organisation supports teachers with training and offers activities for each educational type or level within primary and secondary education in the form of short or long-term workshops, ready-made activities or customised projects.
