Fabrice Samyn lives and works in Brussels. In his artistic practice, Samyn questions the boundaries of binary thinking: profane versus sacred, matter versus atmosphere, male versus female, shadow versus light, absence versus presence, immediacy versus duration, inhalation versus exhalation, and so on. To explore our concept of time, he draws inspiration from various conceptual and pictorial traditions, as well as from Western and Eastern spiritual traditions.
