Fabian Fiorini : here is an artiste whose path has often been crossed in the course of his many collaborations. Regularly invited by Aka Moon, whose rhythmic musical language he perpetuates, he is also to be found in the Ictus Ensemble and as a member of Octurn, a contemporary jazz group.

Fabian’s jazz side is never far from his interest in classical music. As a composer he devotes a lot of his time to this vast patrimony that he claims as his inheritance. Various pieces have been commissioned from him and performed by Ictus, the Ricercar Consort, J.P. Collard, Soledad and others. Fabian also composed for theater and films.

This richly multifarious personality is a performer of jazz, of contemporary music, a composer and an artistic director of recordings. He is also leader of his duo with Jan Rzewski and his recently formed 3io that brings together three jazz personalities who have known each other for a long time: Jean-Luc Lehr on bass & Chander Sardjoe on drums.
