Le Botanique is a crucial culture spot in the capitol Brussels. The charm of the building has no doubt contributed to the making of its fame. ‘Le Bota’ is, more specifically, situated within Brussels’ old botanical gardens. It is said that Belgian endive was discovered there… ‘Le Bota’ has been presenting top quality multi disciplinary artists since 1984. Its eight rooms are used for exhibitions (Chaplin to Pierre & Gilles, Magnum to Marie-Jo Lafontaine), film, theatre, dance but particularly music.
Le Botanique offers a wide variety of music and the programming is bold and adventurous. Every year in May, Les Nuits Botanique, a week long festival in four different spaces (Le Botanique + Le Cirque Royal), is organized.
