Bosse Provoost is a per­for­ming artist/​director. He com­ple­ted the mas­ter’s degree in Drama at KASK Ghent in 2016. He’s been col­la­bo­ra­ting with Ezra Veldhuis sin­ce 2018.

In his first per­for­man­ces (Herberg, Moore Bacon! and The Act of Dying) with Kobe Chielens, he explo­red the phy­si­cal idi­om of figu­res in ani­ma­ted films. In 2016, Kobe and Bosse recei­ved the KBC-Jongtheaterprijs at Theater Aan Zee for their per­for­man­ce Moore Bacon!

Between 2017 and 2021, Bosse was part of the Project for Upcoming artists for the Large Stage tra­jec­to­ry (P.U.L.S.) of Toneelhuis.

Throughout the years his per­for­man­ces have evol­ved from the­a­tre with a strong visu­al sig­na­tu­re to instal­la­ti­on-per­for­man­ces, which play on the­a­tri­ca­li­ty, but are rather groun­ded in poe­try, sce­no­grap­hy and choreography.
