The Airbag Festival, organized by Cultuurcentrum Brugge, aims to provide a contemporary overview of the accordion within different musical genres (jazz, folk, popular, traditional and classical music, hip-hop and electro). They do so by paying particular attention to new trends and placing international big names alongside local talent. Every edition of the festival offers a vibrant and wide-ranging sampling in twenty-or-so concerts and two themed exhibitions.
