DOCVILLE presenteert ieder jaar een selectie uit de nieuwste binnen- en buitenlandse documentaire films. The focus ligt op cinematografisch sterke auteurscinema Speerpunten in het programma zijn een lange reeks avant-premières en de nationale en internationale competitie, waarin het festival een overzicht brengt van de beste recente werken. Daarnaast presenteert DOCVILLE jaarlijks een aantal thematische reeksen en focust het op nieuwe trends in de internationale documentaire filmwereld. DOCVILLE bevat dorogaans 60 à 70 titels en 85 à 100 vertoningen in 6 zalen. DOCVILLE is het toonaangevende documentaire filmfestival in Vlaanderen en is ook op internationaal actief.
