One Minutes are films of exactly sixty seconds, including credits.
Worldwide The One Minutes foundation and partners are organizing exhibitions, events, workshops, country competitions, and award ceremonies.
The One Minutes Belgian Open is an international festival and competition for one minute films open to all filmmakers worldwide. The festival is a showcase of what artists and filmmakers can do with sixty seconds of absolute freedom.
The best films are carefully selected and shown to the public during several screenings at cinema SPHINX and KASKcinema in Ghent from April 27 until May 1. During the Grand Final (cinema SPHINX, April 29, 8.00 PM) a professional jury will nominate and eventually award several films in each of these categories: Art & Narration, Documentary & Portrait, Animation & Visual Effects and the best of 3D. All events, including screenings, lectures, debates and workshops are open to the public.
