SUPERDEALS is a project room and artist residency providing housing, work and exhibition space for short term stays in Brussels. SUPERDEALS is part of www.thewalk.be, the non-profitnetwork of Brussels. The short and intense residency periods create the possibility to experiment, to research, and to develop new projects and ideas encouraged by the vibrant environment of Brussels. Superdeals is located in Saint-Gilles, the artistic heart of Brussels, and only a few steps away from the international Midi/South train station.
The residency runs for a period of one month, with at least one public moment/viewing during the time of the residency.Successful applicants will receive €500 for travel and production expenses. Applicants must be aware that SUPERDEALS is a non profit association of artists providing opportunities for peers, with a D.I.Y. approach. The residency offers an opportunity to artistically explore the city and its art scene while having an open platform to experiment and to develop one’s practice.
