The RRFFF is the only genre festival in Flanders! Ready to promote young and new talent, our 'Fresh Blood' section is the ideal springboard for debuting European genre filmmakers. But not only debuting filmmakers are promoted! Check out the young and fresh performances and shortfilms! Each of them full of new talent. Our side events are quite interesting and with 'Schemerzone', a digital art contest where film, picture, art and technology is blended in a new and creative outcome. Next to all this madness, we do encourage amateur and semi-professional filmmakers to pay us a visit on one of our meetings especially organized for them! Share you idea's, find you film partner, producer or scriptwriter and start your new project.
As a young festival, we can't claim to have a certain market place amongst the giants but we know that on many occasions we encountered films on other (and bigger) festival that we screened year earlier. This was so on Imagine Film Festival (Amsterdam), Offscreen (Brussels), Motel X (Lisboa) & But (Breda) to name but a few.
