MOOSS vzw engages in active art practice, art appreciation, and art experience with an educational purpose. It aims to discover, strengthen, and deepen the ability to perceive, appreciate, and experience art in all its forms. MOOSS does this for, by, and with children, young people, and their guides.

MOOSS strives to foster greater understanding and interest in the arts. By working with its target audience, it aims to enhance openness to the artistic within each individual, and to develop their cultural, creative, and artistic competencies. MOOSS seeks to make as many children and young people as possible adept in engaging with the arts, thereby stimulating their participation in art and culture.

MOOSS provides introductory, in-depth, and specialized learning opportunities across various art disciplines and offers capacity-building through a variety of educational formats. In addition to a diverse array of short courses and workshops, MOOSS carefully plans and implements longer-term learning pathways.
