Founded in 1992 is Open Doek an annual film festival in Belgium that selects artistic films gathered from the four corners of the earth. Films that reveal the richness and diversity in this world. During the years our festival has grown out to be an event with a strong reputation throughout the whole country. The festival is a 10-day celebration for film fans with premieres, exclusive screenings, focuses on directors and countries in five sections: stories, discoveries, docs, kidz and a competition. During the festival there are also master classes, workshops, debates and a three day film college. The public can also go to expositions, concerts and more.
