Kusseneers gallery is a contemporary art gallery that opened its doors on September 11, 2003 in the south of Antwerp. Near the end of 2013, the gallery moved to a large industrial building in Brussels. Open to all media, the gallery presents the work of emerging and mid-career artists. The program of the gallery encourages diversity and experimentation and strives to present all of the artists’ work within a healthy cultural context, to give the viewer the best opportunity to gain understanding of the intentions of the artist.
Kusseneers Gallery is located in a renovated old industrial building in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, only 13 minutes away from the canal and the Antoine Dansaert area. More than 100 years ago, the space was built as a mustard factory. With respect to its soul, the ground floor has been transformed into an exhibition space with high ceilings, flooded with natural light.
