The Verenigde Cultuurfabrieken (United Culture Factories) was a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of chamber music (old and new) and to young talent from both home and abroad. To this end De Rode Pomp, the chamber music centre, organised some 150 concerts per year. There was also space for recording CDs, courses offered in music history, a meeting place for composers and musicians and exhibition space. Through international exchanges the non-profit organisation attracts the world to its door with concerts, meetings and musical journeys.
