In 2003, DJ Grazzhoppa started DJ Grazzhoppa's DJ Bigband with the support of kc nOna. Since then, the ensemble created several projects with different guests: DJ Bigband size # 1 Visual Vectorz Project, Around the world in 80 beats, DJ Grazzhoppa's DJ Bigband + Aka Moon, Djamsessions and Back to Scratch.
The focus is on the acknowledgement of the turntable as a musical instrument and together they develop composition methods, playing music in dialogue with each other and other musicians.
DJ Grazzhoppa's DJ Bigband performed in more than 10 countries, both in large festivals (Lowlands, Roskilde, Jazz Middelheim, ...) as well as in various theaters (Muntschouwburg, De Singel, ...).
