Anna Agoston makes photographic installations to show the world as she sees it, through the prism of her ecological identity. She developed this identity by default – feeling that she did not quite belong to any of her four cultures - and by gradually making her photographs in nature. Each photograph is not only an aspect of the reality of a part of a plant, but also a reflection of who she is deep inside. In this way, artistic creation helps her materialise a sense of belonging to the world.
