Valerie Verhack is a curator at M Leuven, Belgium, where she has overseen a group exhibition on fictional artists (Alias), as well as solo exhibitions with Wael Shawky, Ericka Beckman, Thomas Demand, Jimmy Robert, Mary Reid Kelley, Cécile B. Evans, Jessica Warboys, Nel Aerts, Aleksandra Chaushova and Oriol Vilanova among others. Prior to M Leuven, she coordinated the Vanhaerents Art Collection in Brussels (2011-2012) and was a curator at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels (2009-2011). Until 2019, she was also an editorial member of Le Salon, an online platform aimed at presenting, documenting and reflecting on the Brussels contemporary art scene. She has contributed to several catalogues and (online) magazines, both for M, Le Salon and others.
