In 2010, Stefaan Brusseel, chairman of Willemsfonds Oostende vzw, passed away. As a tribute to Stefaan, in memory of his love for music, and in honor of his dedication to promoting classical music and providing a platform for young musicians, a tribute concert has been held annually since 2012.
