Jan Hublau is a drummer / percussionist and... autodidact. He started performing at the age of 10. First with 'old' jazz genres to finally end up with modern jazz, pop and rock. He did concerts within the jazzdomain with artist s.a. Chet Baker, The Harlem Jazz & Blues Band, The Cotton City Jazzband, The Jeggpap N.O. Jazzband, Chameleon Jazz and many others. On a pop/rock level we'll mainly remember his concerts and studiorecordings with bands s.a. The Establishment and Scapegoat. He has worked for recordcompanies s.a. CNR, Play It Again Sam, Zomba/Rough Trade, VIA Records, Culture Records and Foreign Media Group. Today he is very busy with his own pr, marketing & consulting company [the unit] and the derived subunit 'DrumFirm'
