QuARTier A is an initiative by Karolien Deman and Alec Camu: an artist couple, but each with an individual style and speciality, that complements and inspires each other. Their mission is to contribute to the broadening of the artistic-cultural platform in Aalst and its surroundings. A lot of attention is given to the promotion and support of young, promising artists, but without the obligations and commitments that conventional galleries often require.
