The SK Stiftung Kultur der Sparkasse KölnBonn is one of the biggest foundations for culture in Germany. There are three institutions within the foundation: the Photographische Sammlung with the August Sander Archiv, the Deutsche Tanzarchiv Köln and the Forum Köln with the Akademie för uns Kölsche Sproch. The foundation operates in literature, dance and media (including artfilms and mediaart). The SK Stiftung organises prices: the Tanz- und Theaterpreise, the Deutschen Videotanzpreis and the Tanzwissenschaftspreis, the annual VG Bildkunst Preis für Experimentellen Film and the bi-annual price for a filmmaker in the context of the KunstFilmBiennale Köln.
