Born into a musical family, Edwin played many instruments as a child and became acquainted with many different styles of music.
From his rock music on drums (1990) he evolved into singer-songwriter material on guitar and vocals (1994), and then to violin in different folk groups during his studies of philosophy at Ghent University (1998) and Indian violin/vocals in India and at Rotterdam Conservatory (2001).
With his main project Troissoeur he has worked in different countries with such avant-garde musicians as Sandy Dillon/Ray Majors or Satoshi Takeishi, as well as Belgian rockgitarist Jean-Marie Aerts and electronic music architect Daniel B. (Front242).
