Oogst was founded in 2015 by Jozefien Van Beek and Frederik Willem Daem. The magazine, that appeared four times per year, focused on the visual arts, literature and film and was internationally renowned for its merits as an independent paper magazine - amongst other, it received an honourable mention at the Stack Awards in London. In 2018, the magazine had to end its publications, due to a lack in government funding.
