STORMOPKOMST broadens the understanding of what art can be for children, this by focusing on visual arts, performance, installations and multidisciplinary work. The annual festival and collaborations throughout Flanders ensure that children outside the major cities also come into contact with a qualitative and innovative range of art. In addition, STORMOPKOMST supports artists to develop work for a young audience or gives existing work an adapted context. STORMOPKOMST shows both 'finished' work and work-in-progress. Through this varied program, STORMOPKOMST offers both connoisseurs and passers-by a unique festival full of discovery.
