DDV studied at the St-Lukas institute for Visual Arts in Brussels and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Gent. He is one of the founding members of Club Moral and of <a href="http://www.ibknet.be/organisation.php?la=nl&p=&pp=&id=54">NICC</a>. Since 1979 he is doing performances, installations and exhibitions in Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Poland, Australia,....

His work focusses mainly on performance, body art, true crime art, bootleg, mash-up and remix works.
