LAP was founded in april 2016 by Dafne Maes and Danaé Bosman with the intention to pass on their passion for contemporary dance and education to diverse audiences. LAP wants to introduce the audience to non-verbal body language, by means of artistic performances and projects that closely link performance theatre and education. By artistically questioning participation, LAP creates performances that deviate from the 'ordinary' and challenge their actors, cultural workers and audiences alike. In terms of choreography, LAP combines recognisable, natural momevens with very abstract kinematic language, that prioritises the importance of the physical and playful, always with a touch of humor.
